Webhozting.com was initially my approach at raising awareness of the declining honey bee population, and what it means for all life here on earth. For those who are interested, but haven’t researched the Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), I encourage you to read this free PDF by Renée Johnson  at  www.fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/RL33938.pdf. This should give you all the insight you could ever need to fully understand the severity of the problems at hand.

    Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD)

Our goal was to raise awareness by providing free web hosting and making it easier for bee keepers to gain a presence on the internet.  Since then, we’ve realized there are hundreds of active, good-standing charities that all deserve this type of service. We are building a small data center on the 11th floor of the Angebilt building in Downtown Orlando and as soon as it’s completed we will revise Webhozting.com and re-launch as quickly as possible.  The site is still a concept to this day but one of many philanthropic efforts now underway by my 8-6, Reid Organization, Inc.

Since the concept of Webhozting.com, I have acquired Philanthro.tv. We are launching a YouTube API based site under this domain, modified to accept public donations and fund raising for charitable organizations. There is no better advertising than word of mouth, and viral video is one of the most enticing, compelling ways of getting attention where needed most. We aim to cover our hosting fees through YouTube’s ad network and will maintain as a true non-profit with all administrative time and efforts being donated for the cause.  When more is available, you can count on my blog about it :)
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading.
